We are looking for a Product Designer to launch a new fintech product from scratch in Latin America, with plans to expand globally to all 47 countries where inDrive operates. The company's goal is to challenge financial injustice and provide access to underserved populations, and as the Product Designer, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the design of our digital banking app and ensure that it meets the needs of these populations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design process for new features and improvements to the digital banking app, from concept to launch
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights on user needs, behaviors, and pain points
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and research to ensure that designs are feasible and aligned with business goals
- Monitor and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of designs and identify opportunities for improvement
Ideal Background
- 2+ years of experience as a product designer in FinTech or related fields
- Intermediate level of English, with the opportunity to practice Spanish a lot (if you ever get around to learning it)
- Experience in designing interfaces for iOS and Android. Confident in using Figma, raster and vector editors, and interface animation tools
- Experience conducting user research and testing, and using insights to inform design decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design solutions that meet both user and business needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and defend design decisions to cross-functional teams
- Being initiative: taking ownership of tasks and projects, being proactive in identifying and solving problems, and seeking out opportunities for improvement.
